Gilding and Frame Finishing for Artists, 2 Day Workshop

In Just two Days, get everything you need to be in a position to gild and finish your own frames. Tutored by Hope Elletson, founder of PictureFrames.co.uk, the Condensed Two Day Workshop will give you hands-on experience in every task in water gilding, and in a range of other professional frame finishing techniques.

 At the end of the course you will take home four frames and a linen panel, all of which you have worked on during the course, but some needing further work when you get home. You’ll keep all of the basic gilding tools and materials that you use on the course, so you’ll be fully in business the working day after the course finishes.

 Pairs or couples booking together can save money by working with one course kit. This is a great solution for couples for example, where one is the painter and the other has time available to help with framing. 

The next course runs on the Wednesday the 9th and Thursday the 10th of November at the Slade Centre in Gillingham. Lunch and unlimited coffee will be provided on both days.
