A4

The A4 Size is a common frame size – designed specifically to accommodate an A4 print, photograph, certificate, document or artwork with a Mount.
All Frames are made from Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) certified timber, as are the Mounts, Under-mounts, Backs and Printing Paper where appropriate.
The Frame is Glazed with 2mm Float Glass. The backboard is 3mm FSC certified MDF held in with Flexi-tabs. D-Rings, Screws and Picture Cord are supplied.

Mount:
The Mount Aperture is 132mm x 217mm, allowing the Mount to overlap the paper by 5mm on all sides. The mount margins are 40mm all round of which approx. 35mm is visible, with the remainder going under the rebate.
The Mount is Lightly Textured Off-White (colour 8065). It is made from 1.45mm thick FSC certified board which Conforms to the Fine Art Trade Guild’s “Conservation” Standard.
The Under-Mount Plain Off-White and is also made from 1.45mm thick FSC certified board which Conforms to the Fine Art Trade Guild’s “Conservation” Standard.

Print & Fit:
If you choose this option, we will ask you to submit a digital image file of sufficient quality (minimum 2079px x 1470px for A4 or 925×1520 for a print for the mount) which will upload with your order confirmation.
We will then print this image out on your chosen paper, using our state of the art Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400 printer with it’s LUCIA EX 12 Colour Pigment Ink system. Once printed, we bond the printed image to the undermount to prevent any possibility of wrinkling.
After fitting your image into the frame, we seal the back of the frame with brown gum tape and fit the hangings and cord. The finished picture will arrive with you (or whoever you send it to) professionally finished and ready to hang on the wall.
